    Ways you can support the
Auerbach Family School of Occupational Therapy

Auerbach Family School of Occupational Therapy
The Auerbach Family School of Occupational Therapy fund supports OTD student scholarship engagement by covering expenses related to conference needs (registration fees, travel, etc.) and providing other aid to disseminate outcomes and findings from students’ Doctoral Capstone Experience (DCE) projects.

    Daniel M. Lederer Memorial Scholarship
Dr. Lederer, Professor Emeritus, taught in ASOT for over 26 years and frequently shared his passion for increasing access to those in need. He often tells his son Daniel Lederer's narrative as an example of the importance of inclusion for OT students. To honor Daniel’s legacy and increase access to OTD students, Dr. Lederer’s family awards The Daniel M. Lederer Memorial Scholarship each year to one graduate OTD student who desires to work with individuals with disabilities within community settings, allowing for participation and inclusion.

    ASOT/TARC Scholarship
The ASOT TARC scholarship supports an ASOT student who has been unconditionally accepted into the School of Occupational Therapy and has completed at least 14 credit hours in the professional program. Student must be full-time with a GPA of 3.25 and must have demonstrated evidence of leadership and service in collegiate, civic, or other previous volunteer activities, as well as have demonstrated financial need.

The Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Program
General funds are needed to sustain ASOT’s innovative and cutting-edge teaching and classroom design approach. Specifically, the lab-based classroom and experiential learning activities require routine maintenance and updates. ASOT needs up-to-date supplies and materials to support OTD student learning as they prepare for complex service delivery!
